Walking the talk

I’m Cheryl Krull a Conservation ecology Lecturer at AUT University. In this blog I talk about my quest to become waste free and the problems, solutions and thoughts I have along the way. I live in a new urban development in Auckland, New Zealand with my husband and son. I’ve decided it’s high time my household makes some positive changes to reduce our waste and our carbon footprint. We’ve decided to start small, changing our habits little by little in the hope that these changes will stick. I’m trying to use up what I already have, and then replace these items mindfully, choosing zero waste options where possible. I’ll then update my list of zero-waste products here.
